Beach Hazards In Effect For Parts of Monterey County

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. - Attention beachgoers! The Monterey County Health Department is advising to stay out of the water near some beaches because the bacteria levels have exceeded health guidelines.
The locations of concern are near Southern Monterey Bay and Big Sur Coast including beaches such as Stillwater Cove near Pebble Beach.
The beach hazard is in effect until further notice. Health Officials say contact with the water may cause illness.
