May 10-26

Thursday-Saturday 7:30pm

Sunday Matinee 2:00pm

While a truck-driver-turned-playwright watches his first play being produced in Boston, the backstage antics steal the show. This behind-the-scenes comedy features the grandly temperamental leading lady; her sarcastic, gin rummy playing mother; the flamboyant director; the lowbrow producer and his ice-skating, wisecracking wife. As opening night seems to go awry, everyone believes the show is a flop and turn against each other. When it turns out that the reviews are favorable, the tables are suddenly turned! A true madcap “laugh-a-minute” comedy, by the master - Moss Hart.

Jazz Themed Flash Mob at Farmer's Market

Jazz Themed Flash Mob at Farmer's Market

MONTEREY - There was a unique take on the 'flash mob' at the Farmer's Market in downtown Monterey Tuesday afternoon.  It was a musical celebration for a new program giving MST bus riders the chance to listen to jazz music on the bus. Local high school jazz students, who will perform at the Monterey Jazz Festival, led the way down Alvarado Street.
